Multidisciplinary artist from New Caledonia and insatiable traveller, Sacha TERRAT connects hemispheres from his native island to Paris and erases borders with his lush and hypnotizing oceanic trip hop music. In his digital workshop, influenced by pop and downtempo music, touches of reggae and Kaneka music rhythms, the restless bi-racial artist creates resonances between identities through his explorations of the world.

Singer, composer, bridging artforms and science, fields and experiences, Sacha TERRAT explores language in all its forms with a taste for fine melodies and body expression. In his own creative bubble as well as in his thoughtful works, he creates bridges between the nature from New Caledonia, the biodiversity of the South Pacific and the excitement of modern European cities. With this oscillation comes a search for human connections and a will to create something that is universal & inclusive.

To make these connections, Sacha lays his soft vocals on an electronic sonic canvas. Just like on a tapa, the traditional fabric made of tree bark that is traded by people from the Pacific Islands, his music springs from an organic place before mutating and morphing. Melodies dance with electronic sounds and experimental beats, painting a picture of synthetic textures and contemplative atmospheres.
